Financial models are a core part of any initiative; a fit-for-purpose model delivers value by providing insights into the key questions. Susan can construct financial models that are dynamic, include sensitivities and scenario analysis, integrate with existing reporting systems, utilise macro’s as required and produce full 3-way financial statements.
Previous models built from scratch include:
- Scenario analysis to optimize the portfolio mix, funding and timing of 100-unit property development pipeline resulting in obtaining Bank financing.
- financial models to support the feasibility studies of large (A$500m-A$2bn) capital investment projects in Renewables (Solar, wind, gas, battery and alternative fuel technologies) and infrastructure.
- Rolling budget and forecasting models including short term cashflow forecasting and covenant tracking.
- DCF and multiples valuation models for sell-side and potential acquisitions.
- Independent review of financial models used for litigation support.
Business Plans and Cases
Expertise in developing the value proposition and corresponding financial models for new products, services, business ventures and strategic initiatives.
Strategic reviews including external market analysis and research, strategy development, financial modelling, producing PowerPoints, presenting ideas to internal/external stakeholders.

Strategic Planning
Expertise in managing complex annual strategic plan and budget processes for clients with multiple business units/projects or who are undergoing amalgamations.
Scope covers project management, stakeholder engagement and facilitation, external market analysis and bench-marking, strategy development, detailed financial modelling, preparation of board level presentations and plans, cascading high level strategy into operational plans and targets for individual teams.
